Literature on strategic production-distribution models are extensively reviewed. The review is classified into four sections, namely, Previous reviews, Optimization models, Additional issues for modeling and Case studies and applications. Mixed integer programming models are of particular interest. Summary tables delving on the main characteristics of chosen models are also presented.
