Balancing between stability and variety: Identity and trust trade-offs in networks

Article Abstract:

The study shows a linkage between identity, identification, and trust and also describes the trade-offs related with respect to the necessity for both stability and variety. It is revealed that an organizationEs identity is a stabilizing resource, whereas network identification is an activity that may lead to increased variety.
