Rush Limbaugh, the acerbic, arch-conservative radio talk show host, and Tabitha Soren, MTV program host, are each playing a part in the 1992 presidential election. Millions listen to Limbaugh avidly support Pres Bush, while Bill Clinton's campaign received a big boost when he appeared on Soren's program.

John Malone's TV-dinner: media

Malone built TCI into the cable industry's largest and most powerful company, with revenues of $3.6 billion in 1992. Malone, who has a doctorate in operations research, fully embraces the high-technology multimedia trend, but he faces numerous challenges in running TCI.

Painful medicine: Christian Science

Article Abstract:

The Christian Science church is losing membership and facing financial difficulties. The mother church, located in Boston, MA, has plans to sell the cable television station the Monitor Channel, and the Christian Science Monitor newspaper is in jeopardy as well.
