Technically over: the recession

Article Abstract:

Britain's non-oil GDP rose by 0.1% during the second quarter of 1992, technically ending almost two years of recession. While the GDP fell only 4.1% from its peak, this recession seemed worse than ones in the past because of the sharp drop in consumer spending.
