The Girl Guides go groovy: Brighter uniforms, an of-the- moment marketing campaign and a new recipe for its famous cookies are all making Guide more relevant to todayEs girls

Article Abstract:

The Girl Guide cookies after nearly 90 years, have gone for a total revamp to keep up with changed times and attitudes, in order to give a boost to its slowly slackening membership. The cookie boxes have a new colorful look and bright new guide uniforms have been designed to reflect the communityEs new attitude. To top all this is the introduction of new cookies. The aim is the same, but external changes, a new marketing policy have brought about the much-needed boost in attracting volunteers and potential guides.
