The antecedents and consequences of organizational and personal commitment in business service relationships

Article Abstract:

The potential for business service customers to form two types of commitment, one with the service firm and one with the service representative is explored. Six potential antecedents to each type of commitment are identified and it is proposed that both have a role to play in the relational exchange between the customer and the service firm.
