Governments in Central Asia are concerned about Islamic movements, and this applies especially to Uzbekistan, which has signed an agreement with Tajikistan and Russia to combat Islamic fundamentalism. Uzbekistan is concerned that Uzbeks are being trained in Pakistan to use bombs and guns. There are hundreds of men from Central Asia in radical Islamic schools in Pakistan. Uzbekistan is also losing foreign investment to neighboring countries such as Kazakhstan.
