The 'difficult' deals will be the good deals

Article Abstract:

Investment in unquoted companies looks set to increase in Europe as family firms undergo succession changes and other firms are hit by recession. The major market for such investments in Europe is the UK, but mainland Europe is becoming increasingly important, especially as the number of transactions across borders is rising. Management buyouts are gaining acceptance in mainland Europe, and they tend to be more common within the UK. Investment capital is available and the market looks set to grow.
