The competitive advantage of early and rapidly internationalising SMEs in the biotechnology industry: a knowledge-based view

Article Abstract:

The study examined small and medium enterprises in the biotechnology industry from several countries to determine the characteristics of such firms that enable them to internationalize early. A qualitative methodology was used for the study. Suggestions for managers in improving business peformance are also presented.

Hidden ties in international new venturing: the case of portfolio entrepreneurship

Article Abstract:

The study analyzed the concept of portfolio entrepreneurship in international new venturing by studying small and medium enterprises in Australia. It was found out that portfolio entrepreneurship was essential in studying the formation, development, and continuous existence of international new venturing.
