The fall of Thailand? Thailand's economy may be in a mess, but it is too soon to write off its - or East Asia's - growth prospects

Article Abstract:

Thailand's failing economy reflects problems that all East Asian nations are encountering. Article Abstract:

The East Asian tiger economies are slumping somewhat from their frenzied growth pace, but they can continue to grow if the right reforms are put in place. Asian governments need to reduce corruption, over regulation and subsidies. Near-monopolies that stifle competition should be downsized.
