The "new" Brick gives away the house

Edmonton, Alberta-based furniture retailer Brick, has launched a new promotional contest in late Oct 2000 to increase customer traffic at its four stores in Edmonton, and Calgary, Alberta. The contest offers customers the opportunity to win a fully furnished, 2,000-square-foot house, located in Edmonton, and Calgary, Alberta, worth $250,000 each. The promotion is supported in each city by one daily newspaper, one radio station and the independent A Channel TV station. Contest draws are made weekly until Dec 2000.

ICG puts power behind its service

ICG Propane plans to change the common perception about propane with its national brand strategy campaign created by Young and Rubicam Calgary. The branding strategy is hoped to differentiate ICG from other propane suppliers by its focus on customer service. The Freedom branding campaign positions ICG as a reliable, dependable, customer-oriented supplier, therefore, giving their customers the freedom to do their job without worrying about supplies.
