The paradox of privatisation - 10-year review

Article Abstract:

Many governments have initiated privatization programs between 1988 and 1998. Many different strategies have been used and many different outcomes have resulted. No government has decided to nationalize its companies during this time period. The major factor in privatization has been to increase the efficiency of the operation of firms.
