Amal Samha is a company set up by Ahmed Samha, who sells Benetton garments in Syria and Iraq. There are opportunities in both countries where there are rich people seeking western brands. There is a lack of competition because of the difficulty of operating in these markets. There is a problem that growth is constrained by the type of market, but if the markets become more open, Samha will face more competition. After Iran, he has will lack rogue states to expand into.
