Elevator News Network, an elevator-based video advertising network with headquarters in Ontario, Canada, provides the latest in local, national and international news as well as updates on traffic, weather, stocks and sports scores. The company airs up-to-the minute news on 12.1-inch digital television monitors that also play a continuous loop of silent commercials in the 225 elevators of Toronto's 25 prestigious office buildings. Some of of its clients include IBM, Hewlett Packard and Canadian Airlines.

Harding builds brands at MTT

Article Abstract:

Maritime Telegraph and Telephone Company Ltd's Steve Harding is tasked with building brands and developing products that meet the demands of customers as the newly recruited group marketing manager for business communications for the Halifax, Canada-based company. Harding is also responsible for heading the marketing group that aims to attract small business and home offices. Before his appointment at MTT, Harding served as director of marketing at Seagull Pewter.

Publisher Telemedia Communications Inc of television listing magazine, 'TV Guide,' has found out that multiple-cover issues results in significantly improved sales of the magazine. This was realized in the test project launched in Jul 1999, which featured 'The X-Files' stars, Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny. This was followed by issues on the stars of the motion picture, 'Star Trek: The Next Generation' and television program, 'Dawson's Creek.'
