The wildest ride

Article Abstract:

Individuals who decide to establish their own advertising agencies are in for a roller-coaster ride of spectacular highs and lows. Some of these start-ups are owned by people who opted to drop out of high-paying positions in established shops in order to become their own boss. Some of them did it to escape the bureaucracy inherent in big businesses while others simply believe that they can improve the business further on their own.

Virgin marks its territory

Following successful invasions into the Australian and U.S. markets, United Kingdom's fastest growing wireless company Virgin Mobile, is going to be launched in Canada sometime in the fall. Focusing on prepaid service, Virgin Mobile Canadian's target audience includes young people in the age group of 12 to 24. The company' s major challenge is to clear the misconception that prepaid is too expensive.
