The world seen in open-ended ways

Article Abstract:

Artist Richard Wentworth's National Touring Exhibition for the Hayward Gallery, entitled 'Thinking Aloud,' is currently at Kettle's Yard in Cambridge, England. This exhibition focuses on the psychological aspects of design. It includes initial sketches, but there are also many finished works. Wentworth wishes the visitor to gain an insight into resonance, or the way certain things seem to stand out. There are a number of themes, including map-making, war and house and shelter.

Article Abstract:

Bauman Lyon's conversion of a large disused barn into the longside gallery has made a big difference to the Yorkshire Sculpture part in U.K. Crate houses made there affirm art's old adeptness at mobilizing the discarded or overlooked, and highlights the emphasis on recycling.
