These bookstores nourish shoppers' bodies and souls

Article Abstract:

Several bookstores in Taiwan, Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore are emulating the practice among US bookstore chains to create a conducive ambience such as offering wine and playing soft music while people browse for possible purchases. Among these enterprising bookstores are MPH Group's chain of bookstores, Eslite bookstores and the Duang Kamol chain. The concept relaxes customers and induces them to linger longer.

These calling cards now allow users to utilize virtually any telecommunications infrastructure even if they do not live or work in that country.

Names take on new value

Article Abstract:

The QAF Ltd.'s decision to list Indofood brand names as separate assets highlights the importance of brand names in the Indonesian and Asian food industry.
