Too much of a good thing?

Article Abstract:

Analysts are worried that Taiwan has not done enough to spruce up the services sector as with the semiconductor industry. The government continues to promote technology companies and this has analysts worried that the country's continued reliance on a single, volatile industry could leave it vulnerable in the event of a downturn. There is also worry that production costs have increased too much to support domestic production of semiconductors.
