Article Abstract:

The latest type of disc has advantages and drawbacks. DVDs (digital video discs), designed by a consortium of the big electronics firms, replace audio CDs, laserdiscs and video cassettes. They contain so much information that they can store a 133 minute film with multiple sound tracks and subtitles, and provide better sound quality than a standard CD. A DVD can also store vast databases for computer use. Problems include movie-maker caution, due to fears of piracy, and the lack of ability to record onto the disc.

Data inaccuracy in Asian medical records is commonplace. Over 10% of data records are inaccurate, according to Hong Kong University research. Fraudulent activities are likely in business organisations because data access is ungoverned.
