Trial run

Article Abstract:

Microsoft faces an antitrust trial which is likely to finish in the Supreme Court. Microsoft has tended not to be affected by previous government measures, and the government has previously sought a compromise. The case relates to the way that Microsoft reacted to the programming language, Java, which Sun Microsystems supports, and the Navigator browser from Netscape. Microsoft will focus on product integration in its defense, and claims that its actions are simply vigorous competition.
