UK: OPRA dismisses rumour it is extending deadline

Article Abstract:

OPRA has dismissed the rumour that it is extending its stakeholder deadline of 8 October, 2001. The UK-based regulator sees no reason to extend the deadline and says that employers have had plenty of time to meet the new rules. Companies which do not offer their employees a stakeholder pension by that date face a fine of up to GBu 50,000.
