UK: Rising demand for stakeholders for children

Article Abstract:

Research conducted by BMRB on behalf of Legal & General, reveals that 21% of parents in the UK will probably invest in a stakeholder pension on behalf of their children. The survey found that at least GBu 20 was being saved by 57% of parents every month per child. Parents are finding stakeholder pensions for their children attractive as it means that savings will not be frittered away, guaranteeing a provision for the future.
