UK: ZURICH RECRUITS TOP BUSINESS CONSULTANTS

Article Abstract:

Zurich has recruited top business consultants from major firms such as Cap Gemini and PricewaterhouseCoopers prior to the launch of the Zurich Advice Network for wealthy clients. The recruits will be responsible for increasing the productivity of the sales teams which are due to roll out in September 2001. Broker consultants are also being headhunted from IFA offices prior to the introduction of an electronic trading platform for the 4200 Allied Dunbar-tied sales personnel, with GBu 4mn allocated for the new structure. Some smaller franchises may have to combine forces as a result of the new model, which involves tiering the network around specialist advisers.
