TNT said to be offering to sell part of international mail unit

TNT Post Group NV is believed to be offering to sell a part of its Dutch international mail operation. The company was able to save its struggling joint venture with Singapore Post and Britain's Post Office as a result.

Georgia's leader walks fault line of East and West: Saakashvili says attempt to bomb Russian official was meant as provocation

Article Abstract:

The car-bomb attack on Maj. Gen. Alexander Studenikin, a Russian garrison commander, is viewed by Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili as an intentional provocation designed to break down relations between the two countries. Relations had been improving under Saakashvili, who deposed Edouard Shevarnadze in November 2003.
