USF Vacu-Blast International

Article Abstract:

USF Vacu-Blast International has delivered a 'whole aircraft' plastic media stripping (PMS) facility to the Defence Aviation Repair Agency at Fleetland, Portsmouth, UK. Currently, the facility employs high quality thermoplastic acrylic abrasive media. When needed, the PMS process can be controlled closely to remove coatings selectively layer-by-layer and does not damage delicate substrates. Also, it has inherent health and safety and environmental benefits.
