Understanding the Epson Part II: Make Life Easy - Talk Directly to Your Printer

Article Abstract:

Using the Apple microcomputer to communicate directly with an Epson Printer can make output editing very easy because it bypasses all the DOS commands needed to set up a communication link. Using this program enables one to use BASIC input routines directly on the printer output line and avoid the problems of having the computer programs modify the instructions. The routine is listed in BASIC for the Epson 8132 and Grappler.
