South African Pres Frederik De Klerk wants a transitional constitution and government, while the African National Congress (ANC) is pushing for immediate non-racial elections for a constituent assembly. Both sides plans to achieve a non-racial future are discussed.

South Africa faces a turning point in the forthcoming elections to determine the future of majority rule involving Black participation. The campaign, as expected, is racist in tone. Prime Minister Frederik W. de Klerk's reforms are expected to win.
