Intelligent multicriteria decision support: overview and perspectives

Article Abstract:

A study was conducted to analyze the history and state of the Multicriteria Decision Support Systems (MCDSS). Improvements resulting from the combination of artificial intelligence methods on MCDSS were examined. The quality and usability of dialogues between decision makers and MCDSS were also analyzed. In addition, the benefits of artificial intelligence techniques on multicriteria analysis approaches were considered.

Using artificial intelligence and visual techniques into preference disaggregation analysis: the MIIDAS system

Article Abstract:

A study was conducted to characterize the Multicriteria Interactive Decision Aiding System, a system that utilizes artificial intelligence, visual processes and data analysis methodologies to enhance the user interface and interactive character of the system. The system was based on the UTA II method that evaluates an additive value under certainty. In addition, it integrates three subsystems on data, model and dialogue management.
