Using aspiration levels in an interactive interior multiobjective linear programming algorithm

Article Abstract:

An interior-point linear programming algorithm is suggested for multiple objective linear programming problems. A decision maker at every iteration specifies the aspiration levels for the different objectives and an achievement scalarizing function is used to project aspiration levels onto the nondominated set. The algorithm determines an interior solution path from a starting solution to a nondominated solution corresponding to the optimum of the achievement scalarizing function.

A reference direction approach to multiple objective quadratic-linear programming

Article Abstract:

An interactive approach was developed to resolve a multiple objective quadratic-linear programming problem. The approach, which is based on a reference direction strategy and weighted sum use, allows a decision maker to assess the values of objective functions on a produced nondominated curve. It utilizes reference directions for the linear functions and weighted sums for integrating the quadratic function as guide in finding nondominated solutions.
