Vagnerplast (Kladno, Czech Republic), plastic products company, was acquired by the sanitary equipment manufacturer Villeroy & Boch (V&B) (Germany) in early 2001. Before, Vagnerplast was a purely Czech firm. Daiho intends to invest in the Czech Republic
Article Abstract:
Daiho (Japan), plastic components company, plans to invest more than CEK 600 mil in Plzen, Czech Republic, from 2001. The investment should go to the manufacturing of plastic cases for televisions. The firm has received investment incentives from the Czech state for the project. They will be provided in the form of tax holidays and an exemption from import tariffs on machinery and equipment.
