Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer, and Feld L.L.P. and Winner and Associates have announced a joint venture to provide consulting services on crisis management for companies with operations in China, home of the 2008 Summer Olympics. It is anticipated that the Games will draw intense activity from advocacy and media groups. Akin Gump is a US-based law firm; Winner and Associates is a strategy and communications unit of France's Publicis Groupe.
