We're all disabled now

Article Abstract:

The third and final part of the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) contains some gray areas which will have to be sorted out in the courts, according to Peter Williams, property expert for Eversheds. If businesses want to reach the 3 million disabled people in the UK, they'll need to make their services accessible to them.

Risky debate

The debate regarding the changes in health and safety legislation focusing on how to manage risk is discussed. It is believed that excessive risk aversion does damage and hits organizational efficiency and competitiveness restricts personal freedom and damages the cause of protecting people from real harm.
