...while ARINC selects for Heathrow

Article Abstract:

ARINC has awarded a contract to the Airport Services Div of ServiceTec worth more than $1.6 million annually to provide support for its MUSE/NT common use system. MUSE/ NT will be installed this year at London's Heathrow's Terminals 1, 2 and 3. A team of 26 engineers will be available to offer extensive cover all throughout the year. All airlines at the Heathrow central terminal area will be served with equipment installed at check-in desks, gates and airline offices.

Ultra acquires Ferranti

Article Abstract:

Software and systems integrator DF Group has been acquired by Ultra Electronics for GBP44 million in cash. The acquisition will enable Ultra's UK aerospace and defense electronics units to bring in Ferranti Air Systems and Datel Defence into their group. A Ferranti Air Systems official said his firm's expertise will strenghten and complement Ultra's capabilities in all markets.

Article Abstract:

Adelaide International has awarded a contract to UK-based Sanderson to deliver a billing system that will help manage the airport's landing fees and aviation income. The contracted system, which is part of Sanderson's Airport 20/20 suite, can be used to integrate third party accounts or generate invoices as required. The same system was selected by Wari Airport in Nigeria.
