Bill steps all over right to fast-forward

Article Abstract:

The Family Movie Act, a section of a bill known as Intellectual Property Protection Act of 2004 proposed to safeguard an individual's right to fast forward the sections of a movie, bought or rented, that he does not want to watch. The opponents of the bill including Senator John McCain oppose the bill on the grounds the bill might harm the consumers, as fast-forwarding through advertisements would constitute criminal copyright infringement.

The 'Southwest effect,' as predicted, has brought lower and simpler fares to the routes its serves from Philadelphia. On the other hand US Airways aims to maximize their profit yield by selling some seats at their lowest prices and other at higher ones.
