Article Abstract:

Creditors of Pennsylvania's bankrupt Allegheny health system have agreed to drop their claims in exchange for about $25 million. O'Brien Jr. The 65,000 creditors are owed over $1.5 billion. Officials of the two hospital chains hope to complete the sale by late May 1999.
