Toy-store chain is seeking funding

Zany Brainy Inc. announced yesterday that First Union National Bank had severely cut back its borrowing capacity and was seeking additional funding to operate. The King of Prussia toy-store chain announced it had only $900,000 left from its original $115 million.

Doylestown firm gets U.S. rebuke on its ad claims; Quigley Corp. will stop making certain statements about the health effects of its Cold-Eeze zinc lozenges

Article Abstract:

Zinc lozenges may or may not relieve cold symptoms in adults, and so the FTC will not make Quigley Corp. or QVC hosts stop making those claims. It's all the other claims of health benefits that the two firms must stop making. There is no fine or other penalty levied at this time as long as the claims stop in two months.
