The firm is growing faster than weeds; it has 47 partner companies that need 43 executives; 16 inhouse recruiters are working on that task. The founders' mission is to be the biggest and best B2B Internet company.

Internet Capital names new financial chief; Edward West had held the same post at Delta Air Lines, where he oversaw a push into e-commerce

Delta Air Lines' CFO, Edward West, will leave to take the same position at Internet Capital Group of Wayne. West was involved in Delta's alliance with Priceline.com and brings expertise to ICG's online and software business. West replaces David Gathman who wants to spend more time with his family and his sons' business, iNet Solutions.

Bloom is fading from ICG's stock

Internet Capital Group, which was founded by Ken Fox and Walter Buckley, is having financial problems after posting a huge initital public offering. Investors in ICG, including General Electric Co. and Comcast Corp., have sold off some of their shares as the company's share value declines.
