Article Abstract:

The Trump Hotels and Casino Resorts Inc. has announced the planned demolition of its Atlantic City, NJ-based World's Fair Casino Hotel. Industry analysts have said that the Trump Hotels and Casino's strategy is designed to meet the impending challenge of a new Mirage casino and hotel complex to be built in Atlantic City by Trump rival Steve Wynn. The 21-story World's Fair building, which is one of four casinos in Atlantic City owned by Donald Trump, was constructed in 1981. The new Trump casino and hotel will cost up to $750 million to build.
