Nonprofits in a charitable mood

Article Abstract:

Philadelphia's top five highest-paid nonprofit hospital executives and the compensation for nonprofit health executives in the region are presented. The rise in the median compensation for local top-level health-care executives has exceeded the increase in the median compensation for top-level executives of Philadelphia-area public companies.

PQ Corp. grants early retirement to its CEO

Valley Forge, Penn.-based PQ Corp., which makes specialty chemicals, has announced it will allow its president and chief executive officer to take an early retirement. Richard Kelso, who has been accused of abandoning his disabled son at a Delaware hospital, could have been charged with a misdemeanor.
