Two Philadelphia-region companies have paid nearly $400,000 to settle computer software piracy allegations. They are Horsham-based telecommunications equipment vendor Aydin Corp., and Bala Cynwyd-based systems integrator Synygy Inc.

Pa. tells PGW to give back millions

Philadelphia Gas Work Co. forced to return $12 million in excessive charges to customers. The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission ruled that the company had over charged customers that must be repaided but will be allowed to keep 60 percent of overcharges.
