Baton Rouge retail industry has undergone several changes in the period of 1982-2007, such as the growth of one-stop shopping centers. The market has also experienced closures of famous stores particularly Rubenstein's and Goudchaux's. Details of the Baton Rouge stores that had opened, closed, merged, and changed names, are provided.
