The cycle of renewal in the academic year
Article Abstract:
Teachers are always subjected to the cycle of renewal everytime a school year ends. Unlike in the real world where there is hardly time to think and reflect, members of academe have the opportunity to evaluate what took place during the past two semesters. This constant cycle has its advantages and disadvantages. The positive benefits are the opportunity to try out new methods, materials, formats and settings. In addition, every semester is a chance to guide a new set of students in the learning process. The downside is that teachers will be with good students only for a short time.

Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to evaluate theimpact of inflation on stock returns. The study assumes that state policy on inflation is conditioned by the level of current economic activity. Results show that business cycle variations influence stock return inflation. In addition, the application of stock returns under market and individual assumptions support the theory of stock return inflation.

The stock market reaction to plant closings
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to examine the impact of plant shutdowns on the stock market. Theevent time study was based on the valuation effects of 82 such closings. Earlier findings suggest a rise in stock prices following the announcement of project terminations. However, results show that the shutdown of principal capital assets does not generate any vital effects on shareholder wealth.
