US Airways skips pension payments, seeks to end plans

Article Abstract:

US Airway Group Inc. dropped $110 million in payments due on September 15 2004 to its mechanics' and flight attendants' pension plans, as federal officials were calling on Congress to help ensure that companies meet their obligations to retirees.
