A discussion of the use of sensitivity panels in market research

Article Abstract:

A research paper developed in 1984 regarding market research identified ways on how to increase the accuracy of interviews through the use of sensitivity panels. These panels help build trust between interviewers and respondents. However, this research technique can pose a variety of problems. These include the selection of appropriate respondents, the appropriate intervals for convening sessions and the proper way for conducting the training system.
