A new tool for targeted Web selling

Article Abstract:

Collaborative filtering will enhance business-to-business (b-to-b) marketers' Internet selling operations. The architecture enables marketers to identify user preferences and behavior and connects users with groups that share their tastes. B-to-b marketers using collaborative filtering technology include Barnes and Noble Inc, WiseWire Corp and Firefly Networks. However, some marketers still believe that the old-fashioned one-to-one marketing offers more b-to-b advantages.
