Harris Corp., Melbourne, Fla., is being awarded a $49,000,000 indefinite delivery-indefinite-quantity-contract to provide for the development of modifications to the AN/MST-T1(V) Mini-Mutes electronic warfare training system. The Mini-Mutes system is a ground-based system of emitters, control equipment, and data recorders which allows aircraft to fly electronic warfare training missions and to evaluate performance. These modifications will include upgrades to the emitters, expansion of the range of electronic warfare threats that can be simulated, improvement of tracking capability, and upgrade of hardware and software. Expected contract completion date is July 13, 2006. Solicitation issue date was February 9, 1998. Negotiation completion date was July 10, 1998. This program includes integration, development, and non-personal technical support to United States Strategic Command and the National Command Authorities in the form of systems engineering and analysis, information technology planning, architectures and standards development and maintenance, systems development and fielding, configuration management and testing, and system operation and maintenance.
