Article Abstract:

Harris Corp., Melbourne, Fla., is being awarded a $49,000,000 indefinite delivery-indefinite-quantity-contract to provide for the development of modifications to the AN/MST-T1(V) Mini-Mutes electronic warfare training system. The Mini-Mutes system is a ground-based system of emitters, control equipment, and data recorders which allows aircraft to fly electronic warfare training missions and to evaluate performance. These modifications will include upgrades to the emitters, expansion of the range of electronic warfare threats that can be simulated, improvement of tracking capability, and upgrade of hardware and software. Expected contract completion date is July 13, 2006. Solicitation issue date was February 9, 1998. Negotiation completion date was July 10, 1998. Sacramento Air Logistics Center, McClellen AFB, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04606-98-D-0045).

Lockheed Martin Command and Control Systems, Colorado Springs, Colo., is being awarded a $14,244,750 cost-plus-award-fee-contract to provide for the Computing Environment STRATCOM Architecture (CESAR) program. This program includes integration, development, and non-personal technical support to United States Strategic Command and the National Command Authorities in the form of systems engineering and analysis, information technology planning, architectures and standards development and maintenance, systems development and fielding, configuration management and testing, and system operation and maintenance. There were 7 firms solicited and 2 proposals received. Expected contract completion date is October 1, 1998. Solicitation issue date was May 26, 1998. The 56th Contracting Squadron, Offutt AFB, Neb., is the contracting activity (F25600-99-C-0501).
