ERC Inc., Tullahoma, Tenn., is being awarded an $18,509,547 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide for theoretical and experimental research in the physical and engineering sciences through FY 2003 in support of the Research in Propulsion Sciences Program at the Air Force Research Laboratory Propulsion Directorate, Edwards AFB Calif. There were 24 firms solicited and nine proposals received. Expected contract completion date is Sept. 30, 2003. Solicitation issue date was July 21, 1998. United Technologies Corp., West Palm Beach, Fla., is being awarded an $88,832,569 face value increase to a cost-plus-award-fee contract to provide for studies and analyses in support of the Component Improvement Program for the F-100-PW-100 engine on the F-15 and F-16 aircraft. The work will be completed December 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-97/C-0017, P00008).
