Article Abstract:

The Kenneth R. Wilson Memorial Awards sponsored by the Canadian Business Press bestowed one gold and three silver awards to CA Magazine for its editorial and design excellence. Contributing editor Ruby Andrew, photographer John Bentham and designer Bruce Wrighte won the gold in the best photograph category for their photo of Adam Zimmerman. Other winners include associate editor Brian Banks who won the silver award for best general article for his 'Trial by numbers.'

Advertising volume in business publications is projected to increase in 1984. The 1983 advertising volume in this category fell. The best performers in 1983 were in high- tech publishing. Computer dealer publications are the current 1984 leaders in page gains. Declines for previously poor performing categories should slow.
