BT saw an 18% drop in its stock price after announcing poor results for 3rd qtr 1999. The company faces slow domestic sales, and faces criticism for the slow speed of building up its internet activities. BT plans a business to business internet firm, and BT Cellnet's internet strategy is credible. Lehman Brothers and JP Morgan rate the company's stocks a buy, and Morgan Stanley Dean Witter is neutral, though sees BT Cellnet as amoing BT's positive assets.
