Back to language school

Article Abstract:

Many UK companies are realizing that the improvement of the linguistic skills of their employees could prove vital to their future success in the single European market. These companies may consider several types of providers when planning improvements to their foreign language training programs. These language training providers include government-run adult education centers that provide business-oriented language courses, cultural institutes such as the French Institute and the German Institute, privately-run language schools and corporate language training specialists. The Centre for Information on Language Teaching and Research, which provides detailed information on the language courses that are available, can also be consulted.

Client Body Language

Article Abstract:

Inquiry is not an effective way of detecting accounting irregularities. Accountants need to increase their awareness of nonverbal cues. Deception usually leads to a change in nonverbal behavior. Lying usually leads to uneasy behavior with more fidgeting and usually a slower speech rate. An initial interview should be remembered as a standard of truthful communication. Strategies for the formal observation interview and the detection interview are outlined. Behavioral evaluation forms are included.
